चैत ४, काठमाडौं । ३ सय ८३ किलोमिटर लम्बाई रहेको पुष्पलाल (मध्यपहाडी) राजमार्गको पूर्वी खण्डको सबै भाग ट्र्याक खोलिएको १० वर्षपछि कालोपत्रको चरणमा पुगेको छ ।
सरकारी लक्ष्यअनुसार आगामी आर्थिक वर्षमा पूर्वी खण्डको कालोपत्र सम्पन्न हुनुपर्ने भए पनि उद्गम उपखण्ड कालोपत्रको भने गत माघमा मात्रै ठेक्का लागेकाले कालोपत्र पूरा हुन अबको दुई वर्ष लाग्नेछ । सरकारले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०७७/७८ मा सबै उपखण्ड कालोपत्रका लागि बजेट सुनिश्चित गर्दै ठेक्का लगाएपछि मात्रै पूर्वी खण्ड कालोपत्रको चरणमा पुगेको हो ।
पूर्वी खण्ड राजमार्गको उद्गम बिन्दु पाँचथरको चिवाभञ्ज्याङबाट भोजपुरको चखेवासम्म छ । पूर्वी खण्ड पाँचथरमा १११ किलोमिटर, तेह्रथुममा ११६ किलोमिटर, धनकुटा ४८ किलोमिटर र भोजपुर १०८ किलोमिटर पर्छ । यस खण्डमा कालोपत्र भएका तीनवटा सडकको लम्बाइ १२८ किलोमिटर छ । पाँचथरमा पर्ने मेची राजमार्गको जोरसाल (फिदिम–गणेशचोक ४) किलोमिटर, तेह्रथुम र धनकुटामा पर्ने वसन्तपुर–हिले सडक २२ किलोमिटर र धनकुटा र भोजपुरमा पर्ने लेगुवा–भोजपुर ६६ किलोमिटर छन् । यसबाहेकको २५५ किलोमिटर सडक राजमार्ग आयोजनाअन्तर्गत कालोपत्रको काम अगाडि बढेको छ ।
यस राजमार्गको पूर्वी खण्डमा आयोजनाबाटै हालसम्म ७७ किलोमिटर सडक कालोपत्रको काम सम्पन्न भएको छ । पूर्वी खण्डमा अझै १७८ किलोमिटर सडक कालोपत्र हुन बाँकी छ ।
योजना कार्यालयका प्रमुख न्यौपानेको अनुसार कालोपत्र हुन बाँकी सबै उपखण्डलाई कालोपत्रका लागि ठेक्का लगाइसकिएको छ । कालोपत्र हुन बाँकी उपखण्डमा पाँचथरमा पर्ने चिवाभञ्ज्याङ–दारिम्बा ५१ किलोमिटर, तेह्रथुममा पर्ने सक्रान्तिबजार–म्याङलुङ ६५ किलोमिटर र म्याङलुङ–वसन्तपुर २६ किलोमिटर छन् । यस्तै धनकुटामा पर्ने हिले–लेगुवा २६ किलोमिटर र भोजपुरमा पर्ने भोजपुर–चखेवाको १० किलोमिटर कालोपत्र हुन बाँकी छ ।
न्यौपानेका अनुसार कालोपत्र हुन बाँकी सबैभन्दा लामो उपखण्ड सक्रान्तिबजार–म्याङलुङ उपखण्डलाई नौ वटा प्याकेजमा विभाजन गरी निर्माण कार्य अगाडि बढाइएको छ ।
