चैत २२, वीरगञ्ज । राजस्व अनुसन्धान कार्यालय पथलैयाले ७२ हजार किलो अखाद्य चिनी प्रमाणित भएपछि नष्ट गर्ने भएको छ ।
राजस्व अनुसन्धान कार्यालय पथलैयाले लिलाम परियोजनका लागि खाद्य तथा गुण नियन्त्रण कार्यालय जनकपुरमा गुणस्तर परीक्षण गराएको थियो । जनकपुरबाट चिनी खानका लागि योग्य नभएको रिपोर्ट आएकाले नष्ट गर्ने प्रक्रिया शुरु गरिएको कार्यालयले जनाएको छ । फागुन १३ गते राजस्वले चिनी लिलाम बिक्री प्रक्रियाका लागि नमुना परीक्षणको लागि जनकपुर पठाएको थियो ।
खान अयोग्य प्रमाणित भएपछि चिनी व्यवस्थापनका लागि सोमबार बैठक बस्ने कार्यालयका प्रमुख अनुसन्धान अधिकृत टंकप्रसाद पाण्डेले जानकारी दिए । उनले भने, ‘लिलाम गर्ने सोच बनाएका थियौं, तर गुणस्तर परीक्षण रिपोर्ट त्यसको अनुकूल देखिएन त्यसर्थ सोमबार समितिको बैठक बसेर अन्तिम निर्णयमा पुग्छौं ।’
राजश्व अनुसन्धान कार्यालय संयोजक रहने समितिमा जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय र कोष तथा लेखा नियन्त्रण कार्यालयका प्रतिनिधि सदस्य रहने गरेको भएपनि अन्य सरोकारवालालाई समेत बैठकमा आमन्त्रण गर्ने गरिएको कार्यालयले जनाएको छ ।
राजस्व अनुसन्धान विभागले खाद्यको रिपोर्टको आधारमा चैत ६ गते पथलैयालाई पत्र पठाएर चिनी नष्ट गर्न अनुमति दिइसकेको छ ।
७२ हजार किलो चिनी अनुसन्धान प्रक्रियामा रहेका कारण एक वर्षदेखि राजस्व अनुसन्धान कार्यालय पथलैयाको गोदाममा थन्किएको छ । १ हजार ४४० बोरा चिनीमध्ये अधिकांश बोरामा उत्पादन मिति उल्लेख गरिएको छैन । साथै केही बोरामा त पटक–पटक केरमेट गरिएको छ ।
खाद्य आयात निर्यात गुणस्तर प्रमाणीकरण कार्यालय जलेश्वरले उपभोग मिति सकिएकोले आयातमा रोक लगाएको भारतीय चिनी मिलेमतोमा २०७६ फागुन २५ गते जलेश्वर भन्सारबाट नेपाल भित्रिएको थियो । भारतबाट अनुष्का मल्टिपर्पोजले आयात गरेको चिनी छोटो दूरीको वीरगञ्ज र भैरहवा भन्सार छोडेर महँगो भाडा तिरेर महोत्तरीको जलेश्वर भन्सार प्रयोग गरेर नेपाल ल्याउन सफल भएको थियो ।
खान अयोग्य चिनी नेपाल ल्याउने व्यवसायी र उनीहरुलाई सघाउने भन्सारका कर्मचारीलाई कारबाही गर्न उपभोक्ता हित संरक्षण मञ्चले माग गरेको छ ।
